Charity work is more about the hearts and compassion of individuals than the money that is donated. If it weren’t for individuals who took the initiative to contribute towards society and improve the living standards of the less fortunate, there would be absolutely no charity work despite the masses of money available. A good example of such a noble human being is of veronica Hearst who is an angel among mere mortals when it comes to being selfless.
Veronica Hearst’s passion towards the world of Arts and her contributions are noteworthy as she is deeply involved in various causes. She is the Chairperson in the National Leadership Council for Americans for the Arts (AFTA) which is a program to promote and acknowledge the contributions of deserving American artists and provide them with educational opportunities. She also arranged the National Awards programs for AFTA to highlight the efforts of artists in the fields of visual and performing arts.
Veronica is also actively involved in the well-known American Hunger Alliance which is there to end the problem of malnutrition in the American individual’s especially the children under the age of 4. She has witnessed the consequences and effects of malnutrition and now works endlessly to get rid of this social evil. AHA has a team of highly qualified nutritionists who research food and diet plans and then AHA provides these to the children who are unable to afford them their selves so that they can have a healthy future and one day accomplish great things.
