It’s not like all celebrities are selfish and self obsessed. When you hear about the celebrity scandals that happen so commonly and repeatedly you tend to form the opinion that all people with fame and stardom care about, is themselves and exploiting the privileges they have at hand. But there are some examples of such noble and selfless people whose ulterior motive is to improve the world and the society.
A perfect example is that of Veronica Hearst. Whenever the topic of social work and charities comes up, Veronica Hearst is mentioned in the conversation. This woman has managed to immortalize herself in the hearts of many by acting as the voice of the poor. Veronica is passionate towards the field of art particularly and this is quite apparent by her involvement in various programs to promote the young and talented American artists like Leadership Council for Americans for the Arts (AFTA). The AFTA is a program to recognize the efforts of the American artists and; celebrate their talent. She also participated in the National Awards programs for AFTA to further promote this cause.
Veronica is also actively involved in the restoration and preservation of various historically significant sites and places. She was involved in the restoration of the infamous walker Evans Archive at the Metropolitan Museum of Art and was given the honor of being appointed as special advisor to the White House Millennium council to help restore sites that are of importance to the American history and culture.
