The social work and involvement of charity is noble cause, one that doesn’t only require an open wallet. In fact social causes have little to do with money if you look at the bigger picture. They are all about the compassionate individuals who put forth their time and money to be used effectively for a noble purpose. Social improvement and development couldn’t take place if it weren’t for people who took the initiative to improve their surroundings and living standards of the people around them. A good example is of Veronica Hearst who despite having all the luxuries of life, continuously works to improve the American society and is a selfless human being.
Veronica is involved in the American Hunger Alliance (AHA) which is a charity to end the issue of malnutrition in America. More than 40 million people suffer from food insecurity in America currently the main aim of AHA is to rebuild America in these most difficult times, when approximately every one out of eight Americans is food insecure and exceedingly hungry.
Veronica is also involved deeply in many causes especially in the field of arts. She is a huge fan and is particularly passionate towards this field. She is the She is the Chairperson in the National Leadership Council for Americans for the Arts (AFTA) which is basically a program to promote the contributions of talented and deserving American artists and provide them with educational opportunities as well as a platform to showcase and promote their talent.
