Veronica Hearst

Veronica assured his husband Randolph Hearst that she was saving money, so when he saw the couture houses’ bills she assured him that she had bought items less than original price. Therefore, in the year 2000 in July, Veronica and her husband Randolph bought Villa Venezia, 28000 mansin in Florida for $30 million. According to Patti Hearst, Randolph was reluctant to buy it as he was already suffering from prostate cancer and was to die after 5 months, but it was Veronica who was very enthusiastic in purchase of this house as she loved it for its history.

On 25th February 2012, this Villa Venezia was foreclosed by the capital of New Stream Secured because Veronica Hearst owed them $23 million. She admitted that she had pledged $ 3 million on art work and used Westchester mansion and Fifth Avenue apartment as collateral, which was a violation of housing rules. She was revealed in “New York Posts, Page Six”, as woman who has debts amounting to $45 million. It was reported by people who knew her that took a withdrawal from her high class social life. Randy Hearst had already talked to his lawyer, Robert Littman to deal her matters after his death because of the fact that he knew that he could not leave her with so much money to continue the lavish life she was living because of the terms of his fathers. But all Veronica did was refuse to accept the reality for quite a lot of time.
