Grand achievements of Veronica Hearst


Veronica Hearst is known to almost everyone who keeps up with the social scene in America and has information about charities and philanthropists. She is a socialite eminent for her style and grace, but above all for her commitment to charitable causes and social development. She was married previously to the late Randolph Hearst, who ran the Hearst Corporation which is a media publication corporation that runs more than three hundred newspapers and magazines. Despite her well-known last name, Veronica Hearst has remained down to earth and avoided celebrity scandals or inappropriate behavior. Rather she has truly made a name for herself and has gained name for her active work in the field like the visual arts community and within different charity organizations.

Veronica Hearst has been involved with the White House Millennium Council to a great extent. She’s a founding member and has been given the honor of being appointed as a special advisor to this council which aims to preserve and restore the history of the US by restoring sites of historical significance. It also honors the major cultural, historical and scientific contributions that the Americans have made in the past.

Veronica Hearst has also been the head of the National Leadership Council for Americans for the Arts (AFTA) which is an organization that aims to generate opportunities for Americans to participate in the arts. She also has preserved the role as Chairman of the National Awards programs for AFTA an initiative to recognize the grand achievements of Americans in the visual or performing arts.
